Interior Decorator London
Hoxton Warehouse Conversion
The Story
My first end to end interior design project was my own flat, a warehouse conversion in Hoxton. I stripped it back to a bare box, embracing the industrial aesthetic that was popular in East London at the time. For nearly ten years, it served as both my creative space and a photographic studio that I lived in.
But life took an unexpected turn. After a serious accident, I realised I needed a home that no longer doubled as a workspace. The intention was originally for it to be more of a studio where I’d do most of my shoots, but I found myself needing a space that was truly restorative. I reached out to my good friend and stylist, Sophie, to collaborate with me to transform it into a peaceful retreat. Sophie developed the concept, and I took on the sourcing of furniture and managing contractors to bring our vision to life.
This project was where I discovered my passion for creating spaces that genuinely support people’s lives, and I knew I wanted to deliver that experience for others.
